Okay, I'm caught up! I've moved the posts from the other blog to this one. Anything written now is current.

I haven't posted anything new lately because we put our house up for sale a few weeks ago. This was a process that began, as my husband Fred puts it, when "my wife found out how much our house was worth."

By golly, someone bought it. Putting your house up for sale when you have six kids and multiple pets is an experience somewhat similar to pulling your fingernails out by the roots, but the "keep it clean all the time" phase only lasted a week because the third guy to look at it bought it, so we were lucky.

Anyway, I've been busy. We found another house. Now I have to pack. We move in three weeks.

Tale Of An American Child: Yesterday Lillie was playing doctor with her dolls. She brought me an index card and a crayon and said, "Now, your baby is getting her shots. You sign here. And here, and here, and here."
