Someone left a glass of something wet on the arm of the couch, and someone else knocked it over, and it got all the clean clothes wet (the clean clothes were on the couch, don't ask me why).
It always looks like a disaster around here no matter how many times I clean it up. It's like I have pixies following me, undoing everything I do right after I do it.
I'm through. I'm selling it all, everything we own. We'll keep two sets of clothes per person and a plate and cup apiece. We'll eat takeout from now on. Nothing to do, nothing to clean, nothing to put away. Not much to wash, since the kids will have to reuse their clothes and towels--unlike now, where they seem to think that it takes at least three towels to dry off after a bath, and the optimum time that clothing should stay on your body before you change outfits is about two hours.
I'm putting it all out on the lawn with a big sign. Best offer gets the works. Do stop by, won't you?
